In the area that has been called Makaria Terra (“blessed land”) since antiquity because of the soil’s fertility and the unique microclimate, we cultivate 2,000 Koroneiki olive trees in our family’s olive grove. Our grove is in the village of Skala in Messinia, Peloponnese at 340 meters altitude. Following family tradition, we minimize human interference, avoiding chemical pesticides and irrigation. Our harvest begins in early November, while the fruit is still unripe. At the local mill, the oil is cold extracted, and the olive juice is then stored in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature to preserve all its beneficial properties and aromas.

We produce and export extra virgin olive oil that comes exclusively from our own olive groves. We are proud of our oil’s exceptional quality and organoleptic characteristics, which have earned it many international awards. In the four years we have been in business, we have been awarded 20 medals in international competitions in New York, Los Angeles, Japan, France, Italy, Israel, and other countries (including two gold medals from the prestigious New York Olive Oil Competition and five medals in Japan). We started 2019 with a silver medal at the Los Angeles Olive Oil Competition.

Organoleptic Assessment

According to our professional olive oil taster, “this year's early harvest gave us an exceptional extra virgin olive oil” with a “fruity green character” and medium intensity, “a real Greek character” from “the heart of Messinia. The distinctive pungency, with an after taste of fresh green grass and tomato leaf, combines perfectly with the natural aromas of the Peloponnesian land. The mixture of aromatic herbs, red pepper, and citrus” have created a “unique taste” this year. “I recommend that you try it with tomato salads and main dishes; it combines perfectly with white fish and a mixture of greens.”
